Important notice to Our Policyholders
Erie Insurance incurred a cyber attack this past weekend, causing a complete system outage. We are uncertain when the system will be up and running again. We have been made aware that some Erie Customers are receiving phone calls from individuals falsely claiming to represent Erie Insurance. These people are claiming the customer bills are past due and are attempting to obtain your personal payment information. DO NOT PROVIDE ANY PAYMENT INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE TO ANYONE CLAIMING TO BE WITH ERIE INSURANCE.
Erie Insurance does not contact policyholders by phone for payment information. If you receive a call like this, do not provide any information and contact our agency to report the incident. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact our agency at 410-661-1440.
